How to Reset Permalinks

Since WPEP 1.9 we’ve removed all the steps, and made everything possible with 1 click. Learn more about the System Status

You want to reset Permalinks when you try to open a WPEP course and you get a 404 error.

Certain events like installing a new plugin that adds a custom post type or more or any other Plugin you just installed may require you to update your permalinks. A permalink reset is usually the solution for broken links or broken redirects.

  1. Login to your WordPress website
  2. Click on Settings => Permalinks on the left menu.
  3. See what your current permalink settings are.
  4. Select the plain permalink structure. If you’re already using this, try a different one.
  5. Click Save Changes.
  6. Select the original Permalink setting, we recommend using the Post name permalink option.
  7. Click Save Changes.
  8. Check if your broken links are now fixed.
