Create Category Levels

Step 1: Create a Level 1 Category


1.: On your WP Dashboard, hover over the WPEP tab and click All Categories.

2.: Enter the name of the category.

3.: Upload an image for the category using the Icon button.

4.: Click Add New Category.

 

Step 2: Create a Level 2 Category


1.: Enter the name of the category.

2.: Choose the Parent Category from the drop-down. For example, the Europe category would contain United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Spain as subcategories.

3.: Upload an image for the category using the Icon button.

4.: Click Add New Category.

 

Step 3: Create a Level 3 Category


1.: Enter the name of the category.

2.: Choose the second level category as the Parent Category from the drop-down. For example, the United Kingdom subcategory would contain England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland as third-level categories.

3.: Upload an image for the category using the Icon button.

4.: Click Add New Category.

Making a Subcategory your Main Category

Step 1: Choose Your Category View Navigation


1.: On your WP Dashboard, hover over the WPEP tab and click Settings.

2.: Select the General Options tab under Index Page.

3.: Under Category View, choose Show Secondary Category Navigation.

Main Category and Subcategory View


This is how your main categories and subcategories will show in your website:

1.: Main Category

View a Subcategory page

Open Page View


1.: On your WP Dashboard, hover over the WPEP tab and click All Categories.

2.: Click View on your main category.
